Trusting people

Trusting People
For most of us, there is nothing more difficult then trusting other people…we have either been hurt, deceived or just misused and trust is a very scarce and valuable entity.
However, if we say life is like a department store (refer to previous post) then surely if we need to handle things that are not part of our expertise we have to put our trust in other people (whom God may send our way) to get things done or to make sure that we get ahead.
Today I had a photoshoot with one of my friends who is a photographer, and it was so funny, the one shot we wanted was of me sitting on a chair in the street. No matter which quiet street we tried to take the shot in, it proved to be a busy street every time. So eventually I had to just sit and do my poses and trust that my friend will tell me when a car is coming so that I can jump up and get out of the way. It was so difficult – not because I do not trust him, but because I rely on myself more…I believe that my credibility of hearing something behind me is far more trustworthy than his ability to see behind me…
mmm…makes you think…
