If only God was a coffee bean…

If only God was a coffee bean...
I know the title sounds horrifying, but hear me out. Today I had a meeting at Starbucks and it was so crazy how many conversations we had about when we had conversations over coffee and how most meetings take place at either a coffee shop or having coffee.
Do not get me wrong, I have nothing wrong with this custom, but it is like coffee has become this religion and we face the danger of making coffee the centre of the conversation, or more over the centre of attention, the source of goodness, the sources of communication, the source of community – instead of God.
It had me thinking, how many things are there in our lives that govern us, and becomes the absolute centre point of our existence?
